We are aware of online statements concerning our business and management that we dispute as false. Some discussions have also confused the identity of an event photographer with that of the café’s owner. These are different individuals, and allegations concerning one person should not be attributed to another.
The photographer took photographs of our café and staff at Anime Impulse in 2016. We had no knowledge of his personal relationships and cannot comment on matters outside our direct knowledge.
We deny allegations against café management concerning abuse, stalking, targeting critics, misuse of artwork, disability discrimination and false reporting.
We have requested removal of disputed material, including through a cease-and-desist notice. We are reviewing further available reporting and legal options; no court determination is being represented by this statement.
Following our reports, moderators removed certain material and notified us that it violated their platform policies.
Arcane Maid Café’s management team and industry partners reviewed the allegations and found no evidence substantiating them in the information they examined.
We ask readers and publishers to verify identities, distinguish disputed allegations from established facts, and avoid circulating unrelated personal information. We welcome good-faith questions and criticism about our business.
