- Slight warmth from the battery while charging is normal. If the battery becomes hot, smokes, swells or catches fire, disconnect charging immediately.
Battery and runtime
Approximate runtime per charge: about 240 minutes at 10% brightness, about 90 minutes at 50%, and about 30 minutes at 100%.
Special notes from the box
- Occasional brightness fluctuation after staying lit for a long time is normal.
- If the tube flashes after switching on, the battery is low. Please charge it promptly.
- When not in use, charge it once every half month so the battery is not damaged by running too low.
- If it does not respond when switched on because the battery is too low, charge it with the charger for at least half an hour to reactivate the battery.
- A faint electrical sound while the product is lit is normal.
What is in the box
- 1 Laconic 2.0 E Lightstick (Super Pink), 1 piece
No strap or charging cable comes in the box. Charge it with your own USB-C cable on a 5V 1A supply.
How to use and set the tap sensitivity
Tap the lightstick, or knock two together, to light it at full brightness. To set how hard a tap it needs:
- Press the power button twice. The stick blinks twice and glows dimly, ready for setup.
- Tap it with the strength you want to use. It flashes brightly once to confirm. Repeat as often as you like.
- Press the power button once. It blinks to confirm the setting is saved.
Tip: a very light setting can make it switch on from a jump or a bump in your pocket, so find a balance that suits you.
Laconic 2.0 vs Laconic 1.0
- Laconic 1.0: the original model, known for very bright output but a shorter glow time.
- Laconic 1.0 Reborn: a lower cost follow up with less brightness but better battery life.
- Laconic 2.0 (this product): adds adjustable brightness levels and adjustable tap sensitivity.
Care and safety
- The box recommends using a wrist strap (not included) so the lightstick does not slip out of your hand and fly off.
- If the battery swells, stop using it immediately. A swollen battery has a risk of explosion; dispose of it at a designated recycling point.
- Keep away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.
- This product is not waterproof. Do not get it wet.
- Do not strike, impact or puncture the product in a dangerous way.
- Do not store it in humid or corrosive environments.

Idol concert and wotagei etiquette
- At full brightness it is very bright, so be considerate of people around you and lower the brightness when needed.
- Knocking two sticks together makes a sharp sound; a lighter sensitivity setting lets you light it with a gentle tap.
- Always follow each venue and event rule on lightsticks, penlights and cheering items.
- Charge fully before the show and use lower brightness to stretch battery life.
